Motorola DP4400

Motorola DP4400 is the industry standard non-display DMR digital two way radio.

Motorola DP4400 is a digital business radio designed for tough working environments. Building on the success of the now discontinued DP3400, the DP4400 takes things to a whole new level.

32 channels

The Motorola DP4400 has a 16-position channel switch on the top panel. However, multiple zones can be selected. That DP4400 supports up to 32 channels accross multiple zones. This does not impact the number of voice groups.

Tri-colour LED

The Tri-colour status LED can allows the DP4400 to notify the user of many different statuses. A description of the status LED colour meanings are available in the manual, which can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.

Emergency Button

The DP4400 emergency button can be programmed to send a mixture of different emergency calls or signals. Please let us know if you require the emergency feature activating on the DP4400.

Large, textured push-to-talk

See the diagram below. The DP4400 has a very large and textured PTT (push to talk) button. This means that even in the lowest light situations the user can easily find the PTT button. Furthermore, the PTT button has a definitive and evident click to feedback to the user that the PTT has been activated.

VOX Capability

The DP4400 has voice activation functionality that can be switched on or off at the point of programming. If you would like any voice activated features switching on, please let us know when ordering.

Transmit Interrupt

The transmit interrupt feature is included with the DP4400 by default.
